  21. Currently, JoMail is shipped in a self-extracting file. 
  22. To install, just double click on the file you downloaded to install the program to a directory of 
  23. your choice.

  25. JoMail will start and ask you to enter your email address. This is the extent of the installation procedure.

  27. To run JoMail, go to the directory to which you extracted the program and double click on the icon JoMail. This will start the program.

  32. The Unix version of JoMail is shipped in a .tar.gz file, which is a compressed tar file. To install, you must first unzip the file and then untar the file. 
  33. Once extracted, enter into the JoMail directory and type JoMail.sh. This will start the program.

  68. If you are having problems with using JoMail. Try the following (this will basically start you over and erase all your email):

  70.    #Go to the JoMail folder
  71.    #Look for a file named Clean.bat
  72.    #Double click on Clean.bat
  73.    #Close the annoying black window

  75. This should erase any damaged files and allow you to start over.

  77. When retrieving mail, and nothing happens for a long time, try and press the Get Mail button again. Again, there are a few bugs.

  89. JoMail is written in the Java(tm) programming language which requires the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) to run. If you already have the JRE on 
  90. your computer, there is no need to download the JRE again. At the JoMail website (www.jomail.net/Download.html), there is a download option 
  91. which will allow you to download Jo Mail without the JRE. This version is preferred and is considerably smaller (.5 Megabytes compared to 6.2 
  92. Megabytes).
